Dr. Fazi has been treating venous and cardiovascular disease for over 25 years. He is a Board Certified Cardiovascular surgeon and a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
Dr. Fazi graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1978 from West Virginia University with a degree in chemistry and he is a graduate of the West Virginia University School of Medicine class of 1982. While at West Virginia University School of Medicine he received honors in pathology, microbiology, pharmacology, surgery, and cardiothoracic surgery. He is also currently an adjunct professor at the West Virginia University School of Medicine.
Dr. Fazi underwent his general surgical training at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA and served as a Chief Resident during his final year of training. He worked as a general surgical resident under Dr. Collier, during both of Dr. Collier’s chief residency years. Dr. Fazi then pursued a fellowship in cardiovascular surgery at Allegheny General Hospital.
Dr. Fazi was instrumental in developing the cardiac program in Altoona, PA and served as the director of cardiac services prior to joining the Sewickley Vein Center in 2012. He has extensive experience in cardiac surgery and the treatment of venous disease and has been working with both since 1989.
Leslee Dobson graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2003. She currently serves as an RN with Dr. Fazi at Vena Health and Wellness and Sewickley Vein Center. Prior to Vena, she worked as a Medical-Surgical nurse at Heritage Valley and as Nursing Supervisor for UPMC Cranberry Place.
Leslee has extensive training in vein treatment, venous insufficiency and medical spa treatments. She attended the National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, AZ and was trained in laser hair removal and skin treatments. Furthering her education, she received additional training and certification from Allergan on injecting Botox, fillers and Kybella and training and certification from Syneron Candela on the skin lasers and body sculpting machines.
In her spare time, Leslee enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
David Gray has been registered Vascular Technologist and registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for 26 years. He graduated from Purdue North Central in 1990 with a two year associates degree in Radiologic Technology. In 1994, he received a two year associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonograhy from Delmar College in Corpus Christi Texas. He was voted outstanding student in both Radiology and Sonography classes.
David served as Chief Sonographer at Bay Area Medical Center from 1994 to 2000 in Corpus Christi, Texas. From 2000 to 2002, he worked at Sewickley Hospital as lead Vascular Sonographer. Since 2002, David has worked as the Chief Sonographer for Vena Health and Wellness with Dr. Fazi and Leslee Dobson.
David's focus at Tranquility is on skin lasers and body sculpting machines. Since UltraShape
Power is based on Ultrasound energy it was only natural that he would become proficient performing those treatments on patients. He has received extra training on this equipment and has received numerous compliments on his results.
In his spare time, David enjoys working out at the gym, training his labrador retriever, Bow hunting, fishing and traveling to Bozeman, Montana and Charleston, South Carolina.
